Via Rap-Up.com: Drake is feeling generous. After liberating his remix to SBTRKT’s “Wildfire,” October’s Very Own unleashes “Dreams Money Can Buy,” a Noah “40” Shebib production that samples Jai Paul’s “BTSTU.” “A song that I felt the need to share. Not my single. Just a piece of my story. Hear me out though…” he wrote on his blog. Here’s one line that will have people talking: “And I feel like lately, you went from top 5 to remaining 5/ My favorite rapper’s either lost it or they ain’t alive.” But before jumping to any conclusions, Drizzy explains that it is not a shot at Jay-Z. “Hov diss? Hov of all people has not lost it…that’s god body flow,” he tweeted.

Via Rap-Up.com: Drake has been keeping a low profile as of late, but he adds fuel to the “Wildfire” on the funky remix to U.K. producer SBTRKT’s single, also featuring Little Dragon’s Yukimi. “If they kill me, bury me a legend/ Bitch better have my tomb right,” raps a cocky Drizzy, who is in the lab working on his sophomore album Take Care. Listen to him spit fire.

Via Rap-Up.com: Kanye West rolls out the red carpet for more of his famous friends on the unfinished remix to “All of the Lights,” the Rihanna-assisted single off his platinum album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Maintaining the original beat, the revamped tune touts new verses from Lil Wayne, Drake, and G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean, with ‘Ye letting the guest stars do all the work. “It’s cold as hell, I show and tell/ Weezy home, our n***a out of jail,” spits a triumphant Tunechi, throwing it to Sean and Drizzy for their all-star appearances. Get lost in the flashing lights. |
