Via MTV.com: While hip-hop heads are eyeing the throne, more details are being revealed about Drake’s highly anticipated sophomore album, Take Care. After releasing a handful of songs via his blog (including “Marvin’s Room” and “Dreams Money Can Buy”), the Toronto rapper and YMCMB representative reportedly will soon be dropping his new album’s proper lead single “Headlines” and has also divulged info about a few more songs on the project. |

Drake will help the city of Cleveland, Ohio, celebrate its 215th birthday with a special performance. Drizzy will headline the city’s celebration concert, along with hip hop veterans Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.The four day celebration starts on July 20-24. The festivities are expected to draw over 10,000 fans to the city’s downtown mall. “I am honored to share this moment with the city of Cleveland,” stated Drake. “I will do all I can to show my appreciation for a place that has always faithfully supported my music since day one.”

Drake scheduled concert at Universal Studios has been canceled due to the passing of a family member. Drake’s performance was the final one in the theme park’s Summer Concert Series. There will be no substitute performance. A recent statement made by Drake’s Reps “We regret to announce that Drake will not be able to take the stage at Universal Orlando Resort due to a death in the family. He hopes that his fans understand the situation he finds himself in and know that he fully intends to return to the area in the future. He thanks Universal Orlando Resort and his fans for their continued support.”

Hot 97 has annouced this year’s lineup for Summer Jam 2011 held annually in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Last year’s festivities featured the likes of Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Trey Songz, and the 2011 Concert promises to be even bigger. Set for June 5th at the New Meadowlands Stadium, the festival will be Streamed live. This years headliners are Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Birdman, and Drake. The event also features Fabolous, Lloyd Banks, Rick Ross, Waka Flocka Flame, and Wiz Khalifa, with even more acts to be announced.
